Mission

Chandra accused Anuj Dhar and Chandrachur Ghose, the founder-trustee members of Mission Netaji, of betraying the nation by spreading falsehood in their yet to be released book in which they have.

Sreejith Panickar is an Indian political analyst, television news debater, researcher and writer from Kerala. He gives opinion on a wide range of political issues, government policies, and social developments on national and regional television.[1][2]

  1. Unfortunately he could not succeed in this daring mission. When Japan surrendered Bose thought of going to Soviet Union to continue the unfinished struggle for liberation of India. But he met with an aircrash and met with untimely death. He was affectionately called by his followers as NETAJI means reverent leaders.
  2. Kolkata: The members of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s family on Thursday accused a Delhi based non-profit organisation Mission Netaji of running a “sinister campaign” to taint the image of revered freedom fighter by claiming that Netaji – as Bose is fondly called – lived in Uttar Pradesh as a hermit named Gumnami Baba. Urging the Central government to release all Intelligence Bureau.

Researcher[edit]

Panickar is the founder-member of Mission Netaji, an Indian not-for-profit organisation that conducts research on the disappearance of Subhas Chandra Bose.[3][4][5] In 2015, Panickar accessed the particulars of 36 of the 41 secret PMO files on Netaji, using RTI Act.[6] These files related to information on Netaji's family, funeral of his wife Emilie Schenkl, Bharat Ratna controversy, disposal of INA properties, transfer of Netaji's alleged ashes to India, and the construction of a Netaji memorial in New Delhi.[6] Indian government declassified these files in the following year.[7]

Political analyst[edit]

Panickar's socio-political opinions often get featured as news stories of leading media houses.[8][9][10][11][12] His debates on the citizenship amendment act gained wide popularity on Malayalam television and public platforms.[13][14]

Media One TV boycott[edit]

Mission Netaji Book Summary

In August 2020, Panickar boycotted a Media One TV debate as the channel wanted to introduce him as a right-wing analyst.[15] Panickar himself revealed this on a Facebook live and said he could not allow a TV channel's editorial board to infringe on his personal freedom,[16] and criticised the channel's double standard as it didn't apply political spectrum for all analysts on their shows.[17]
