Wii Install Internet Channel

Progress Continues
We've already had 13187 updates since Dolphin 5.0. Keep up with Dolphin's continuing progress through the Dolphin Blog: July, August, and September 2020 Progress Report.

Go to the Wii Shop Channel and download the Internet Channel, which is free. 2 Select 'Internet Channel' from the block on the main screen and follow the instructions to browse the Internet. Feel free to go on any site you want, like Facebook or Twitter. The Internet Channel is a version of the Opera 9 web browser for use on the Wii by Opera Software and Nintendo. Opera Software also implemented the Nintendo DS Browser for Nintendo's handheld system. Internet Channel uses an internet connection (set in the Wii Settings) to retrieve pages directly from a web site's HTTP or HTTPS server, not through a network of proxy servers as in Opera Mini. Dear Customer, Nintendo would like to inform you that an update to the Internet Channel is available. Included in this update is a never version of Adobe Flash, making even more website content available to you. Until now the Internet Channel was available to download from the Wii Shop Channel for 500 Wii Points. Wii HomeBrew Browser. This functions like the app store on android devices or as the iOS store on apple devices. Once you install this to your console, you can then use it to search for various homebrew apps with different functionalities.

The Wii uses several pre-installed Channels for many of its basic functions, such as launching discs, buying Virtual Console games, and managing Miis. Additional applications and games can be downloaded through the the Wii Shop Channel, giving the Wii console much more flexibility than its predecessors.
